My Two Awesome Blogs

The two blogs that I chose to follow are Andrew Sullivan's Daily Dish and The Consumerist. The first one I found on the list of blogs provided for our class. We had used it in class a little bit and decided it would not be a bad choice to follow for the rest of the semester. The second one I found, The Consumerist, I found by searching on Google for popular blogs. The Daily Dish includes stories that deal with big political issues and opinions on this issues. They post many different posts dealing with all kinds of different stories. However, since we all pretty much know what the Daily Dish is about I will not spend too much time on it. The Consumerist talks about many different things to do with money and all kinds of different items that deal with the consumer. It includes anything from little tips and suggestions to full length articles about more important issues. For example, some of the stories I have read include item recalls, myths and facts about car care, and the debate of whether or not people should pay for internet use. The author includes different people who write small posts on the site. Then of course people can comment on the posts and put their own opinion. The audience can include anyone. I think the debate over the internet is especially significant because everyone uses the internet now. The purpose is to educate people on issues regarding different products and ideals in the consumer market and to help people get the most of their money.
